It’s time to post another update, so here goes !!

Last weekend saw the 2009 SWPP show in Hammersmith, London, it’s where all the wedding and portrait photographers get together to meet suppliers and attend workshops and courses to help develop their businesses.

I’ve been previously but never really had a good idea of what I wanted to get out of it, but this year I had a real agenda – I was looking for Acrylic printers and a really cool album supplier to sit alonside my Queensberry offering.

Did I find what I was looking for ? – well I’m still a little undecided on the Acrylic front so I’m going to get a couple of samples printed up, but I’m really happy on the Album quest.

I went looking at Couture books (they are a German company) who make the most gorgeous hand-crafted, hand stitched albums in a range of amazing designs – and I am completely hooked. A set of images is going of to them soon for them to print up on their range of papers so I can decide which of their products to start using – very exciting.

I also joined the SWPP whilst I was there, hope to be making the most of my membership this year.

On the photography front I have a shoot this weekend with a lovely pregnant lady, my first ‘bumps’ shoot, and on Sunday I’m off to Staveley for another 2 days at the wonderful Annabel Williams CPT – two more days with my mates on CPT 30.

I guess that’s all for now.

Just a quick update to say – Thank you – to all those people who have taken the time to visit and send me their very kind comments and words of encouragement for my new site. I do appreciate all that you have said !!

I’ve already got a couple of shoots lined up – I’m off to Norfolk next weekend for a ‘mum-to-be’ shoot and I’ll be working with the delightful Ellie (who already features here in my portfolio’s) in February for her 2nd Birthday, can’t wait for that one !!

As always, comments are most welcome – congratulations to Shirley for getting in 1st.
